Each known strand will be explained so we can all understand and you will get to have a go at a fun exercise you can use in your class. It will be quick fire fun.
We are having a Christmas party! Join us at Moana-Nui-a-Kiwa Pool in Mangere from 12pm onwards for a fun potluck picnic lunch/ pool party! There is an awesome play water splash park where little kids can play so if you have any tamariki, feel free to bring them along!

OMGTech! is running an interactive workshop for teachers on the new Digital Technologies Curriculum. It will be a hands-on techy session where we show you some of the tech you could use, and you can decide how to teach it. We will also give you a link to a new interactive resource, the digital tech round-up, where we showcase all the tech we have heard of (and even some we haven’t!)

Toloa-Kenese Club is back! We are partnership with the Ministry for Pacific Peoples and NZQA to run four interactive STEM workshops for Pasifika Year 7 to Year 10 students.
The Workshops will use digital technologies or science / technology based practises including robotics, electronics, , coding and 3D printing.
A science and technology class like no other, OMGTech! presents an action packed, fun filled show exploring space and technology for schools to participate in remotely.

Superhero Daughter Day is an initiative by DCC Jobs and Tech Girls Movement to encourage primary school aged girls to get excited about STEM. Held in March throughout various locations, the event is a unique International Women’s Day Celebration (IWD) celebration.

A group of students from South Auckland is organising Y-Tech, a free student organised event aimed at providing youth aged 14 to 20 insight into the ever advancing field of technology.
