Inaugural Kaiako Unconference 2021

Calling all kaiako (teachers), tumuaki (Principals) and any other educators in Aotearoa!

Have you done something super cool recently? Or have you seen or done something you’d like to discuss with like-minded people?

Come along and join our first ever unconference! We are kicking it off this year from July 19th to the 20th at the ataahua Institute of Awesome in Whāingaroa, Raglan

What is an unconference?

We want to bring together all the awesome kaiako (teachers), tumuaki (principals), and others who work in the education space here in Aotearoa.

This isn’t your typical conference. Sessions are as much conversation as presentation because everyone in the room could be a speaker.

We’ll get together 10 am on the 19th to plan out what we want to do. If you are super passionate about something or you have just made or discovered something you want to share, drop us a line before and we’re happy to pre-populate the schedule.

How much will this cost?

It is FREE, Attendees do not have to pay.

It’s designed to be as easy to attend as possible. You take care of getting there, we take care of everything else. You’re encouraged, though not required to stay on-site in the provided accommodation. We supply all food and drink (there is a space on the registration form for specific requirements)
